..."the nicest guy on PhotoNet"... somebody named him this way and this was really him; I know that everyone that has ever been in contact with him here felt this way. I am so sorry that I'm too stunned to find my words right now... Francesco, the photograph, the artist, the person that always had a kind and encouraging word for everyone here on this forum... that is the way we (people on PN) know him. He was an example and an inspiration for many of us here, but I wish I had never had this chance to write these words now... life is not fair, indeed. My deepest regrets to his family and his friends.

I want to thank everyone for your love and admiration for my dear Francesco. We all miss him terribly. I just thank God that this life is not the end. There's a better world up there, and Francesco and I will see each other again.<p>LIFE IS FAIR...<p>because Francesco didn't have to go through the agony of living a useless life like many others, but he made the best of each and every day...<p>because he had the nowadays rare privilege of feeling loved and appreciated by you, me, his kids and many others that he was serving daily as a missionary...<p>because we have together four wonderful children, healthy and beautiful, that will grow up proud of their wonderful father and willing to carry on what he started in this life...<p>because for the past 8 years I've been married to one of the most wonderful men I know...<p>because the love we shared will live on...<p>because God has no other way of making us aware of the suffering that goes on in the world every day but by allowing us to suffer, and therefore making us softer...<p>because they that love God shall never meet for the last time...<p>because there's more beauty to behold in Heaven than even his best photos were able to capture here on Earth...<p>Thankfully,
