igla
I noticed that some mamber are name only. Their sites does not show portfolio, nor their ratings or comment. I know that they comment other poctures and portfolios but their site does not reflect that. is there a problem with the software?
connie_l
It would be nice if "mambers" could understand just what the hell this guy was talking about! Talk about broken english.
orensztajn
I understand what he meant, I think english is not his lenguage (like mine), you should be more polite istead Connie. He is trying to write in your lenguage can you do that in his lenguage istead? Derek, there a lot of members that do not have pictures, mostly of those are interesting in forum talk and they may not have time/will to upload photos. Is their choice. igla
I think YOU know exactly what I am talking about. How can you post a message when your accOunt was removed. This is the message from your page "This user account is deleted from the community"
igla
Thank you for a comment Gustavo . Yes english is my second language and I should pay more attention to spelling and grammar. I acknowledge the fact that some members just comment or participate in forums, but it shows on their pages what they comment and how many times. There are some member's pages that show only their names with no other info. Some of them established years ago. Some of those members comment on other members work, but it does not show on their pages. Some of them rate pictures and it does not show to. paul -
Derek, does <a href="http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00Ddfq">Brian's response in another thread </a>address the issue you are talking about?:<p>"Unsubscribing also has the effect that anybody who clicks on your name will be told that your account has been deleted, and your posting history won't be publicly visible. But unsubscribing doesn't delete any posts and they will still be readable in the thread, article, etc, where they were posted. Apart from photos, most posts cannot be deleted." afs760bf
That doesn't exactly answer it. Connie's account shows it's deleted, but also shows the post made today as a posting history. It is most strange, no?
orensztajn
Maybe Connie's account was deleted after that post?
laurie_m
That account was deleted after the post. Connie L also has multiple accounts.
jnicholson
Hi Derek, don't forget that there can be more than one user with the same name. So, just because you see a comment and/or rate from a user it doesn't mean it came from the user who created the "empty" account. There are lots and lots of these empty accounts. My guess is that many of them are created by people who maybe only vist PN once. Geez Connie, I think that's the single most obnoxious comment I've seen anyone make on this site. Could you really not figure out what Derek meant? That says more about you than it does about his English.
jhenry
Whilst it is not exactly the subject of your post, but after reading Connie L (or whomever behind this account) comments, I would suggest Brian to limit the forum input to paying members (especially on the feedback forum since non-subscribers are not really concerned). orensztajn
I agree with Jacques, but you have to give them a try, maybe after a time of starting an account could you do this.
