love4leica
Any body has used this lens? I know it is not leica quality but how good is it? Quality, perfomance etc etc. Thank you.
andyaitken
I have one under the Kobalux name and in M mount but I'm pretty sure it's optically the same. It's a perfectly good, sharp lens, but then again it's hard to go far wrong with a 28mm f3.5. My one which was new but abused stock had a couple of mechanical problems that I was able to fix myself (it was very loosely put together) after which it is a nice smooth lens to use and "feels" as good as any of my older Leica lenses. It's also very, very compact, has a focusing lever and short focus throw. In all it's my favourite street lens, now replacing my CV 25mm. janne1
Is the viewfinder as nice and big as it looks? :)
andyaitken
While the finder is big, bright and well made it is a bit disapointing in use; the brightlines are not that bright and there is almost no space around them - at least compared to the plastic CV finders I have.
