jcgoodman
Yes, and there IS an "LTM" there somewhere! This lot is on one side of my kitchen, taking advantage of good lighting. A purely amateur diversion, of course. (Photo taken with very basic digital camera). Anyone else care to post a workshop shot? Regards to all, John. jcgoodman
Hello Mike H - The microscopes shown are generally used for photomicrography (film, or usable for digital photography). The equipment had former useful lives in Uk aircraft industry (Panphot, 1930's), and university labs here in Australia (Ortholux,1950's - the arched microscope at right in photo). Optical/mechanical hobby material now. Cheers.
adrian bastin
Having some difficulty identifying one peice of equipment: what is the domed apparatus behind the cheese-dish, Luis ?
jerry_lehrer
John,-- You use all that delicate micro equipment in the greasy andsteamy atmosphere of a kitchen? Sounds weird to me!
jcgoodman
Hello Jerry - I eat out during project times - but the kitchen remains useful as a local base for the essential coffee!
