reinhard_scheuregger
hi all, i was just wondering: has anybody tried closeup-lenses on the 140? i have a set of "Proxar" for my Hassi and absolutely love the look of it. especially with the 0.5, DOF is spectacular. i know, though, especially with the 140 macro i can get pretty close (70mm?), but i will have to compensate with an extra stop and even then, the results are different. are there any similar lenses out there for the Mamiya, and if, has anybody worked with them? thanks reinhard
reinhard_scheuregger
...oops: i meant 70 cm (?), and obviously not "mm" ...
mag_miksch
IMO the 140 macro lens only works on the proSD, not the proS
reinhard_scheuregger
hm, not to my knowledge. i've just purchased the kit (ProS, 140mm, plus 120/220 motorized back) from a photographer. i shot a couple of testrolls to see if the camera needs some TLC, but all pix came out just fine. wayne_crider4
I use to use a 77mm Canon 500D on my Nikon lens and found it very good. Another choice is a short tube.
reinhard_scheuregger
wayne, thanks for the help. i've been using extension rings on my Hassi stuff. finally i switched over to the closeup-lenses, though, cause especially with outdoor shots the extra stop or two turned out to be a nuisance. i'll be looking into your solution. reinhard
