winddancing__
"Found" lens. f/ 5.5 to f/ 32 17 inch Teleros. Had modern Burke and James of Chicago label stuck on. No shutter. As it is large and too heavy for a hand held 4/5 it must be a studio type. Would like some general information as to its intended use and quality of output. jason_greenberg_motamedi
The name is a good indication; it is a tele design lens, not a studio lens. Designed, I believe, for English half plate (4.75 x 6.5), it should be a reasonable performer, depending on condition. I would assume that B&J did an after-market coating the lens. michael_gudzinowicz1
You'll find a Teleros catalog page at the following link: http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/rossa/p2.html There are two Ross catalogs in that section of the site. Click on "Info on Camera Equip." in the menu to the left.

vivek iyer
So, winddancing*, you are a real p.net reader?! On your APO El-Nikkor question offline, here is the answer: Just keep the lens away from extreme heat/cold. :-)
winddancing__
Clueless Winddancing is barely literate, he mostly looks at the pictures; but, thanks for passing on the information
vivek iyer
I have only two things (may be more that I am not yet aware of) going for me: 1. Memory, 2. Eyesight. Literacy could be several feet below yours, I am afraid. I appreciate an actual name instead of a screen name when I receive a private email.
