What is the smallest Canon brand bayonet mount shade that can be used with the 17-40L on small sensor cameras like the 20D without vignetting. aaron_lam Posted March 29, 2006 Share Posted March 29, 2006 Inversely, you can also use the EW-83DII from the 24 f1.4 on the 24-105 f4 (and vice versa). I use these smaller hoods on a 1DMKII so they work with a 1.3 crop too. The 16-35mm with a EW-83DII works on the 1.3 crop too.
