Oly E-1 focus confirmation with MF lenses

I know cameraquest offers adaptors for various brand lenses to enable use with Olympus 4/3

mount. I know you must use stop down metering. But will the E-1 camera provide focus

confirmation (that is, the focus light comes on). I used to be able to do that with a Tamron

adaptall lens on my old Nikon F-100.

Negative. No light, since no electronic link to the camera. That would have been nice,but no dice...

Thanks. Curious that Nikon could do that with non-electronic linked lens (I have an old Tamron 400SP/f4 Adaptall). The F-100 would provide the focus confirmation. I hope to use the same lens with the E-1, 800mm F4.
