daveish182
Ive just tried a 46mm filter which Ive got on a Nikon L35 and it's too small. The filter thread looks fine so i'm guessing that means it's 48mm.Details of lens are Mamiya Sekor 1:3.5 f65mm No 1101118/1109039 Seikosha-S 1-1/500th sec. dave_s
The chrome and the black 65s both have a 49mm filter thread.
dave_s
Ooops sorry failed to reread the original post, and I didn't register that you had already tried a 49mm. One other thing-- at least some of the 49mm threaded lenses (like my 180 Super) have removable chrome rings in them to stiffen and protect the lens barrels. If you have one, did you remove it before trying to screw in your 49mm filter?
