kevin m.
OK, I lied about the 'last pic.' I think this is a Gulf livery Ford GT-40, Neil.

kevin m.
It's a nice shot, Trevor. I wish that man luck finding parts for the car over there, though. ;-)
johnny massey
These shots are driving me nuts! BTW Here in the UK this month's issue of 'Motorsport' has a big feature on the history of the Can-Am series. Back when I was a kid I couldn't wait for thursdays when 'Motoring News' hit the stands so I could check up on the progress of Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme - halcyon days. john_r._fulton_jr.
Ahhhh, the Vincent Black Shadow. The good doctor, Hunter Thompson, use to write about it with fear, but no loathing. Good to see a photograph of the beast.
geoffrey goldberg
Check this out: http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=620385 shots from the Miller weekend in Milwaukee this summer. Harry Miller used to put everyone to shame, winning Indy with a FWD car in the late 1920's. Straight eights, and his four cylinder engines were kept in production by his shop foreman, Fred Offenhauser. Geoff

jack_lo_..._t_o
Any of you get near a Ford (U.S.) product with the flathead V-8 in it, lift the hood and shoot the motor. The head covers are magnificent-iron sculpture. I thought I was the only nut who looked at them that way until someone loaned me a Robbie Coltrane DVD on the V-8. (He loves the old US cars.) Great minds, and fat guys, think alike.
owen w.
Bill,
Do you have any shots of the tail fins on that white Caddy? The headlamps look like a 58, although the design classic of this model was the 57. Would love to see your shots, if you have more of it. Thanks.
