bernard_frank
Did anyone really see a $1,550 D200? Where?
vivek iyer
I'll take 2 D200s @ $1,551 each!
ShunCheung
Eric, I fixed your original link. There is no edit button to correct your own post. Therefore, write carefully. :-) Only moderators can change posts. I would expect D200 to be around $1500 by this summer when there is plenty of supply, and any banding problem will be long gone by then.
walterh
"I would expect D200 to be around $1500 by this summer when there is plenty of supply, and any banding problem will be long gone.." That would be nice - I was afraid Nikon might raise the price once the banding problem is solved ^^
greg s
"Nikon also offers the ``D200,'' priced at about 180,000 yen ($1551) for advanced amateurs, according to shopping Web site kakaku.com." kakaku.com doesn't mean diddly. B&H sells the body for $1700 and they almost never have it in stock. Wouldn't expect either the price or QC to change significantly (from now) before next Xmas. vivek iyer
I like Shun's optimistic forecast. I hope that will turn out to be true. In the meantime, I have a D70 that I bought from Eric~ to convert for UV!
