Poravich
In my room here downtown Bangkok, Im choosing different kinds of my camera bags for my 500 C/M, 80mm/f2.8 C with its hood and strap. Having stupidly pulled it in n out several times until taking a glance to my notebook bag. Yes..I proved my hypothesis by trying to fit the blad into it. Excellence! theres a reserved place for my blad. Plus, plenty of room is available for others. Its a no name bag. Pretty sure it was made domestically (Thailand). About 5 inches wide at the bottom. My Blad only takes the bags bottom area- still leaving plenty of upper room for clothes, snack, books, etc. WellHow nice Mr. Victor Hasselblad! russ_britt3
I think he designed it to fit in a laptop bag. He thought of everything.
flying_tiger
Hasselblad is high maintenance luxury item just like a Porche or Ferrari. I wouldn't fix it myself except the usual jamming problem. Anyhow, get a recent 503cw or 501cm or have an old one CLA and be done.
weravut_nontavech
My 503 CX + 80 CF + 40 CF , an extra A12 magazine and Sekonic L558 fit in a small lowepro off trail2 !
paul_neuthaler
I recently bought the beautiful Hasselblad "suitcase" 712 from KEH in "Bargain" condition for $135.00 (it retails at B&H for $921.00!!!). There wasn't a mark on it -- just no shoulder strap or keys. John, at Hasselblad USA, is trying to come up with these items for me. It cradles my 500CM, 80 Planar, 50 Distagon, 150 Sonnar, etc., etc.
paulhu54
Paul, You are the one who purchased the 712 case from KEH. I was looking at it for the past several months. I hope yours will fall apart, just kidding. Well, I will settle for the 612 case they have in stock. :)

photogrit
Great for you :) My 503CW, with the PME45 prism finder, with the Winder CW, 150mm lens with hood attached fits perfectly in my Lowepro Stealth Reporter AW300 (with the inserts rearranged), with room to spare for the Polaroid back, and Nikon SB800 flash, extra A12 back, as well as film, etc. Many folks think my Hasselblad is a video camera with the 150mm lens and prism finder. Was shooting one day, and these DSLR guys were smirking when they saw me using a "video camera" instead of a "real camera" like their DSLRs. Obviously, they don't know what a Hasselblad is :)
