I just found that my favorite photo magazine, Lenswork, is having a holiday speical

subscription offer. Now one year subscription to the magazine is only $19.95. I was too

cheap to buy it (I just read it at the bookstore) but I've just subscribed.

Great value on a great publication - as a sidenote - if anyone buys it - do the buy with the current issue as this comes with free shipping for all & is the same price as doing only the subscription & you get one more issue.

I already had a subscription to Lenswork Extended, but at $19.95 I couldn't resist subscribing

to the paper magazine too. I'd been missing that reading experience, which is utterly

different from reading via a computer screen.

Forgive the ignorance, but what's so special about this magazine?

It's a magazine that's about pictures but not about equipment. Each issue (usually) have three

portfolios of nice black and white photographs, two interviews and a few articles. Pick one up

in the bookstore and see if you like it.

How are you determing this? If you start with the next issue you get 62-67. If you start with the current issue you get 61-66. Or am I missing something?

Well spotted - pity they stil charge you $39 additional shipping for overseas orders!

I was sad to have to give up my subscription when I moved to New Zealand. It's a decent value for a US subscriptiong, but a bit dear once you add international shipping to the price.

As I was checking out I was buying only the next issue & the subscription - shipping was 3.00 - if you buy the subscription & the current issue shipping is free so it's what I did.
