brambor
I just received the latest NG and on page 46 by Gerd Ludwig I found aphotograph that will be my favorite for a while.
alec1
So? Is that all there is to it?
brambor
That's it buddy. I classified it under photoworthy events. You can stick it in a pipe and smoke it. ;-)
jerry_lehrer
Rene, That was a rude and unladylike reply to Alec's question. Jerry
EricBoehm
Probably good since Rene is not a lady.
brambor
I'm more of a tramp than lady. Anyway, I just wanted to point out a photo that might interest someone.
keirst
It is probably the most interesting photo in the whole issue. I love the tomatoes in the grimy, cracked sink. Looks like it was shot with a pretty wide lens. Very poignant.
brambor
Yes, Steve. And the slanted angle of view only corrected by the secondary picture in the mirror is great too. I also love the 'hideous' wallpaper in the mirror matched in taste with the poster of the fishes (or is it a wallpaper too). The whole set is so authentic. I can't get enough of that pic. nemeng
Looks like it was shot with a pretty wide lens
NG photographers lazily using ultra-wide lenses for every shot. Who'd have thought it? They've never done that before... :?)
BTW, I was looking at the (seriously misleading) "Girl on a bike" Chernobyl website (and commentary surrounding it), when I found the following official Chernobyl info website link. FWIW:
http://www.chernobyl.info/
