simonburgess7 Posted June 22, 2006 Share Posted June 22, 2006 Hi. Hopefully a really simple question but one where I just cannot seem to find an answer to ! I have recently re-installed CS2 on my laptop and find that when I want to open a file from Bridge the only option I have is to open it in Internet Explorer (which is indicated as the default) or Paint 5.1. To open a file in PS2 I therefore have to use the 'Open' command and open the whole folder then select the file....which is taking ages! I cannot find a way of changing the default to PS2.....Can anyone out there shed some light on this for me? Would be very appreciative. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ed_Ingold Posted June 22, 2006 Share Posted June 22, 2006 The program "Bridge" opens files based the file preference in the operating system. You can set the preference for each file type in Bridge/Edit/Preferences or in Windows File Explorer under Tools/Folder Options/File Types.
