multiple system crashes

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else noticed their browser crashing since Pnet began the

newest marketing gimmick ("The following words have been

removed...")? It seems a coincidence that this never occured before

now. Whenever I click on a posting, then attempt to return to the

forum, my computer crashes. Good old Windows, I know this happens

occasionally, but this seems very suspicious. And very annoying.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing it.

Try another browser from here.
It is pretty robust and you can download extensions to protect yourself and your computer agains lots of things.
In our company the use of Internet Explorer with untrusted sites is prohibited and only a few webpages are accessible with IE.

Photo.net is not one of them anymore.
IE is a nightmare of security and web woes.

And so is Win2k, W98 and XP w/o SP2 installed. But social engineering is the bane of all

platforms though, ie phising etc.

People complain about Mac marginalization, but I could

care less, I enjoy the lack of exploits in the wild.

Fascinating - to read all this and realize that, since my Windows PC crashed in February,

(again), and I replaced it with a PB, I haven?t suffered any intrusions or pop-ups. I'd

forgotten all about them...my headache?s gone!

(except for question marks that POP-UP instead of apostrophes).
