al_kaplan1
Since they stopped making the Bessa T they're considered rare and collectable. I don't blame Dennis for keeping it safely at home where he can fondle it at his leisure.

michael s.
Watch this: Ed will make an heroic attempt to fix the camera (all the while with his fingers crossed) then outbid me and grab another Hexar -- his 8th or 1lth I'm guessing -- for something south of $9.99. And unlike me, he'll make Ray split the shipping.
ray .
there's a "reset" button? sounds cool. Michael, if I can't fix it, I'll throw it out the window. I'll give you all the time and place, so whoever's there first...
Alex_Es
Ray, Hope its just needs a battery change. Weak batteries are worse than dead batteries because they are so confounding! Had that experience yesterday with my Bessa R3A. Meter going nutz, camera jamming. Change of batteries brought all to normal. If there is anything else wrong do get it fixed. The Hexar AF isn't a Leica but in terms of silence and handling it out-Leicas Leica in a lot of ways. The 35/2 is very non-Asph. 'cone-like. Steve Gandy has a great article on the Hexar AF on Cameraquest. Meanwhile, here is a Get Well Soon card for your Hexar AF:<div></div>

ray .
Greg states that "E 30" means the main board is bad, and he has no replacement part. I pushed the rewind button and then the camera began to flash 26, now it flashes 0... Hmm, out the window?
