brett_davis1
Forgive me if this gets posted twice: It hasn't appeared in the list of topics as far as I can see. More DMR! More DMR vs. Canon! http://www.publish.com/article2/0,,1855889,00.asp
ben z
My interest was piqued when I read his opening line: "There are two fundamental factors that limit quality in today's digital camera images, and I'm not talking about resolution." but then he lost me when he wasn't referring to photographer talent and skill. One succint point he did happen to make, though it seems unintentional, was pointing out that Canon is not standing still. It will be very interesting to me see how the 5D compares with the DMR (if anyone who bought one will actually be objective)since that is the Canon I might be able to afford and capable of lugging around, not the 1DS-II. socke
Ben, you're right. The Canon 5d is very tempting :-) But I like those comparisons although I'll never be able to afford one of those.
andrew robertson
I read the article, but couldn't help hearing 'wank wank wank' in the back of my mind the whole time.
ezio_gallino
Volker are you sure? a Canon eos5 will lose half of his value in a year, or little more. You've got to earn this money if you're pro. DMR run the risk to become collector's item... ezio
