gee-bug
I just noticed that in playback mode after zooming into an image using the wheel control I can use the Av and AE-L buttons to zoom in and out. I couldn't find anything in the manual about this feature. Anybody know any other such "easter eggs" on the *ist DS? I'd love to find a faster way to switch between RAW and jpeg... Sorry if this is old news.
molitor
Thanks a lot, I didn't know that! Never this annoying rattling noise of the wheel again when zooming in and out.
jeffpolaski
Good old Pentax. They succeed in spite of themselves ;-) Thanks for the hint.
john_bailey3
Thanks, I knew about the AV button (super fast zoom in) but I didn't know about using the AE-L button! John
kaushik_mallick
That is cool! How about this one? When using a Pentax M-mount lens and the camera set to manual (M) mode, use the depth of field preview button (the one with the on-off button) to see the F-stop data inside the viewfinder change into the metered exposure data, like -2 or +1 in evs. If this was mentioned in the manual, I didn't catch it.
