stephen_f
Is it possible in either Photoshop CS or Photoshop Elements to check a photo for its original exposure. I'm sure I've done it in the past, but I can't remember how. Thanks
anner
The easiest way is with the file browser. One of the browser windows is Metadata.. which includes camera settings.
KenPapai
Exactly, unless it was saved in a non-progressive JPG format even Windows XP will tell you much of the basic photo data -- exposure info, ISO, focal length, camera type... (but this is not a question for this forum, more like a basic question for digital darkroom or something)
