Linux and Watermarks

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if there was a command in linux that could watermark a

picture. I am not referring to gimp or the like, but a command line

interface that can be scripted. I currently use jhead to read the

header info and cjpeg/djpeg to reduce to web quality pictures based

upon what is in the header. My script will read a directory of

pictures, and build a sub-website with an index page, scale big

pictures more and small pictures less, and rotate if needed. I would

like to throw in my name and date as a watermark, or something on the

picture to identify the pictures as mine. Any ideas?
