richard_hoover
Anybody find a good non-Canon brand replacement for Canon's NB-2LH. CAnon wants 3 times plus the price of many of the other brand alternatives . . . but which, if any, of the other brand alternatives reliable and offer good value in performance. alexis_alexiou1
Hi, I have tried DELKIN batteries and I have no problem. I own a Minolta camera and there is no deference in performance yet -(9months with the new battery). For your camera go to: http://www.delkin.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=47&cat=25 Regards Alexis alexisphoto@mail.gr
peter_white2
But will their battery give the same run time as the Canon?
joeb
I bought 2 batteries on ebay for my 300D. No problems. The NB-2LH equivilents are selling for $1.40 with $7 freight on ebay. I don't think there is much difference in these generic batteries. At least with a Canon if the battery fails (blows up) and distroys your camera they will replace the camera. I think the odds are low that this happens much. I have never seen an msg that a generic battery distroyed a camera. I would buy 2 with the cheapest delivered price. peter_phan
I buy third-party batteries. You save a lot of money, and they seem to last the same as the Canon batteries.
sloopjohne
Another vote for SterlingTek! :-) I bought their batteries for my Canon 10D & vertical grip over a year ago. They work great and are dirt cheap ($12 or less) compared to the Canon brand (over $50) and hold more power.
