arnabbanerjee
I am going to Puerto Rico for a short trip (3 days). Looking for some advise on some good photo opportunities. I heard Old San Juan is fantastic. But I will love to know some more expert suggestions from my friends here in PNet. I shoot various themes - from nature to street - not very used to portraits. Any comments are welcome and thanks in advance for your time and help!
qtluong
Old San Juan is indeed nice, but don't miss the rest of Puerto Rico. For nature, a top area is El Yunque. It is one of the best protected and most accessible tropical rain forests anywhere. You'll also see quaint villages as you drive around the island. By the way, I was in Puerto Rico for less than 48 hours.
msoskil
El Yunque is awesome. I was there years ago and loved it. The people who I went with complained that it was raining. I tried to explain that it was a rain forrest, and that they should have figured on some rain, but they were the complaining type. I'd like to go back there again with only my camera.
