Fuji Crystal Archive printing services in Europe?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find large format Fuji C A printing service (using Lightjet or similar) in Europe. Seems there

is none local, but I would guess there is bound to be some in EU area, they can't be all in States :-)

Printing size would be 50X75 cm or 75X100 cm, exhibition quality. Any pointers?

They must surely exist - e.g. 'The Earth from the Air' uses very large CA prints in the travelling exhibition:

and namechecks these guys:

- might be worth a call. You could also try contacting some of the major London pro labs like those listed in this thread:

or ask Fujifilm directly:

I am no expert on Fuji digital print technologies, though I have had prints done on Fuji Crystal Archive up to 15"x10".

www.photobox.co.uk was recommended to me (though I haven't used them and therefore cannot comment on quality). I notice they do prints up to 15" x 10" on Fuji Crystal Archive using FujiFilm Frontier printers and "posters" up to 30" x 20" (76cm x 51cm) on FujiFilm Professional digital photographic paper using a Polielectronica Laserlab printer. Maybe (as I believed up to now) Crystal Archive and Frontier only supports up to 15"x10".

After a little more digging, it looks like Lambda machines are more common in Europe than Lightjets, e.g.:

though at least one place in London has a Lightjet:

Frontiers printing on Crystal Archive are very common in the UK, but as noted above the print size is limited. Fuji certainly supplies larger paper sizes for the large format printers. I don't know what Bayeux etc. use in their machines.
