jay_chadney
I bought a used Mamiya 7II. The camera worked fine in test mode, but as soon as film was put in, I couldn't wind the cocking lever after the first shot. A repair shop replaced the shutter release magnet. It worked as it should for the first roll of film after that repair. During that roll, though, I decided that when I was finished with the roll, I would have the RF adjusted (because I am picky). That was done, and I just put a roll of film in, and have the same original symptoms of not being able to cock the shutter after the first shot! Camera dry fires in Multi mode just fine, and also in single mode when the back is open. But put a roll fo film in, wind to the start arrow, close the back, continue winding to "1", take a picture, then NO WINDING!!!!!!!! Two different shops performed the magnet replacement and the RF alignment. Coould something have gone wrong during the RF alignment, or is this a problem of the release magnet from the first shop only functioning for a week? I am on a mini vacation right now, so i cannot get the camera to either shop for a couple of days. Then, I am planning (I hope not "was planning") on thaking the mamiya to Alaska for a week in 10 days from now. Any thoughts to ease my flippin' stress headache?
