roxyandkaidotcom
Okay, I want to buy an album like a KOLO album with blank paper pages and mount prints to those pages. So how do I mount them? Glue sounds like a dumb idea. Photo corners aren't too pretty. Those little sticky mounting squares will make the photos stand up off the page (won't they??). I know Cypress Albums mounts the photos to their paper pages ... how do they do that? Of course, I want something that'll last forever and not have photos coming undone while people are flipping through the album. Here's a pic from the Cypress website. Any suggestions?? Thanks! Gary Naka
Years ago I used to use a 3M photo spray adhesive. You had to use a silcone paper to mount it with. The silicone paper keeping the photo from sticking while you position it, then slide the silcone paper out while you press the print. Problem is the stuff smelled, and you had overspray. So I had to do it outside and spray the photo on newspaper. I used it for mounting 11x14 prints. But for an album, you would have to use a new sheet of paper for every photo, so you don't get the adhesive on the front of the photo.
jurmellies
I recommend Scotch 3M Adhesive transfer tape, and the Scotch ATG 700 dispenser. Works like a charme...<div></div>
iskandar_azaman___kuala_lu
hermafix. Very easy. it rolls out a series of dots and they have it in permanent and non-permanent. I use the non-permanent ones for the flush mount albums. I find that it'll stick well and doubt that it'll come off if someone handles the album with care. which is reasonable. Plus it is archival. darrin ballman www.crossl
Hermafix squares for that setup. I use the Hermafix dots for my matted albums.
