alfonso_bresciani1
Could this screw up be due to a wet camera/lens? It was shot with a 20d and 16/35mm. I saw the vertical lines in the LCD , but I thought was just the lcd acting up. It was drizziling and I got a bunch of images like this after I exposed the gear to light rain for a while. http://www.pompo.com/screwedupDPreview.jpg
jbq
This could be caused by wet data pins on the sensor, preventing from reading certain columns.
JeffOwen
Did you change the lens during the drizzle? Damp and electronic circuits do do not go well together as I recently have found with my son-in-law's I-pod. After much effort I was able to dry it out and it is back working OK. So long as the 'drizzle' was pure i.e. not sea spray, then you might be lucky and dry out the sensor (if this is what the problem is) by setting the camera to sensor clean and puffing clean dry air at the sensor.
