bill_kerner1
I just unpacked my new d70 package and started to fill out all the extended warranty cards, the porblem is they all state that they must be sent in within 10 days of purchase date on the receipt. I ordered it througha web dealer and I choose ground shipping. It was shipped on a Firday and did not get her until the following Friday. Now 1 week later I am 4 days over. My question is do they take into account shipping times? I know I should have filled them out right away but I have been too busy to even unpack the camera. Thanks for any and all help. haris_ashraf
You should be fine. I never send any warranty cards and my D70 has been in repairs twice. You need a recipt with sale date. Haris
john schroeder
All you need is the dated sales receipt. Nikon does not care about the warranty cards.
villaverde, justin
Nikon even recently repaired a lens of mine w/o a receipt or warranty card. They used my bank statement as proof of purchase. The service went fine, but it was a little hard to get info on eta of completion.
