walterh
There seemed a shortage in the US - do not know if this still is the case. I just came across that this lens is offered at the german ebay for another 20hours. Perhaps some friends in desperate need might want to check this out. A word of caution: to some folks Luxemburg is not the secret heaven of safe business :-P It seems one has to pay in advance- something I never do - but then I am not desperate^^. walterh
Peter if you leave the price sticker on the used lenshood it might even compensate the expensive look of the lens if your out in dark corners doing street photography (it is a F1.4 after all) - could be a life saver. .-)
ky2
Actually Peter, what im looking for is some cap that can fit the ZF's hood... since I always have mine on.
Uhooru
Has anyone used this lens? I was thinking of getting 1 for portraits and other shooting. Since I have a Nikkor 50 1.4 AF, an old AIS 50 1.8 and a 55 micro, I'm wondering what the heck do I want another 50 for, its funny how they just sort of ended up in my kit:) I'm trying to figure out how to justify the lens. The 50 1.4 AF is a great lens, but the out-of-focus area's aren't always pretty and I do like to use DOF in my pictures a lot.
karl_keung
they should have produced the Distagon 21 and 28 first, or maybe their skills are not up to it yet, cosina at least this time has the grace of including the hood, unlike what they are doing with the Leica M mount lens.
