jorge_prat
I was planing to get a 6000 series Rollei, but a really mint Rollei PQ 150 Tele-Xenar lens came before, so now I have the lens but not the camera. Looking inside the lens, I notice the shutter blades are close. Is this normal? should they be open in stead? Whe I was a Hasselblad user, the shutter blades always had to be open, specialy when removing the lens. thanks in advance Jorge
larry_leung1
Just checked with my 150mm f/4 Tele-Xenar. No shutter blade seen when lens not attached to camera. Moving the aperture ring from "A" to other positions do not make the shuuet blade appear aslo. In fact, I have checked with all my 4 other Rollei Schneider lens and one Rollei Zeiss lens (makro 120mm), still no blades visible when looking through the lens. Better take it to your Rollei dealer to have it checked. Thanks, Larry
wayne_crider4
When you get the camera attach the lens and shoot a frame. The blades should open for GG viewing. I made the mistake of getting a 150 Rolleigon and thinking the lens was bad and shipping it back. It wasn't bad. I just needed to release the shutter once. OCULUS New York
Yes, I agree with the above post. It's an electro-mechanical thing caused by trying to fire with a weak battery usually. Or, let's hope so. Ray Hull
