adrian bastin
John-Charles, I'm with Eric ! This is timely because I'm agonising over which Brooks saddle to get next, having won my 20 year battle with the last bugger - that is, it broke before I did (I think). (would buy a Lepper if I could find one in the UK) Anyway, yes, it is satisfying. My combination is an old Holdsworth (W.F.) and an M2. The bike is very light and the camera, heavy, which is as it should be. I have a car but put more miles on the bike.
jcgoodman
Hello Adrian - I know this is potentially naughty - talking about bicycles on a photographic forum - but hey, were really seeking a more comfy ride for our Wetzlar babies. I would recommend ebay as a good source of Brooks seats. Perhaps look at the Brooks B17 (Narrow or Standard). Brooks seats usually turn out to be more comfy than they look. My B15 - fairly narrow but certainly not razorback - is an old 1930's job in splendid condition. Nice, thick leather. Cost ᆪ25 on the 'Bay. Cheers. adrian bastin
Yes, I've found a good comprehensive Brooks website that even has their leather handlebar tape, to protect the M2 should it contact. Thanks for the 'bay idea ! !930s ! Hardly broken in yet, then.
leslie_cheung
>>>Sure, bikes ot lots to do with M's vs. digi....<<< You are so sooo smart James. It have nothing to do with M's vs. digital furthermore I want nothing to do with the leica/film vs. digital "war" Brad, very cool that you ride a Fat Chance. My friend got a Independent Fabrication, I believe IF was started/built by the same Fat Chance technician.
