mercsadies
I have a Nikon D70s. I have multiple sized CF cards in various brands. It doesn't seem to make a difference what card it is - my problem is that when going through my images in Photoshop, I shot the image in JPG FINE (also happens when I'm shooting RAW) and landscape images are correct at 10.027x6.667 with a 300dpi. If I turn the camera for a portrait shot - the images are coming out at 27.778x41.778 with a 72dpi. Why?! How do I fix this? Did I do this by accident or is this the way it shoots? I'm not positive that this only happens to portrait shot images but this is the only connection I can find. Please help!
jpb
It is six of one, half dozen of the other... your pixel count is the same either way and the file size will be the same too. Not sure why it is displaying differently between horizontal and vertical compositions, but it really doesnt matter. If you change the 72dpi image to 300 dpi you will find that the dimensions match exactly the image that was set at 300 dpi.
