Where can I buy the Nikon EN-EL3e battery for the D200?

Everyone is sold out... Ritz has it for $50 and $16 shipping. I dont want to

Perhaps you could tell us where you are located...

 

If you're in Dallas: Competitive Camera or Cooters Camera have them.

 

Chicago: Central Camera has them (or did as of a couple of days ago).

 

FYI: Dallas area. Best Buy at LBJ/Midway has a generous quantity of D200 bodies. They are

one of the only retailers in Dallas with a supply.

These batteries will be in and out of stock while the camera is

relatively new and demand is high. In the meantime dont

worry about topping off your battery. These are Lithium-ion

batteries not NiMH or NiCd. If the battery is at 90% or less just

pop it in the charger. Here is more information...<br>

I have searched every possible site: eBay, Froogle, etc. THE ONLY place that seems to have the en-el3e in stock is Cooters Camera in Dallas. I just purchased one for $50. They were extremely nice on the phone.
