carlosquandt
Hello When you try to request a critique of one of your photos, you can read as follows: "Submit for critique onlyNote: Checking this box will permanently disable ratings on your photo, and cause any ratings of the photo that have already been made to be deleted." "and cause any ratings of the photo that have already been made to be deleted" How is this possible? Is there anyway to check "Submit for critique only" a photo that have already been submitted? Or in other words, is possible to delete the ratings on a photo that have been already critiqued and rated? Excuse if this is not the specific forum and also because may bad english :-( Regards, Carlos
emwalker
That message is a vestige of an older iteration of the rating system. A while back, the ratings were more open, and each rating could be listed individually with the name of the person who gave it. Any photo in a portfolio, too, could be rated directly regardless of whether it had been submitted for critique yet. The system has since been reworked so that a photo must be submitted for critique before it can be rated, and so that ratings from the 'rate recent' feature are listed anonymously. Once the photo is submitted for critique, however, there is no way to change the critique request- so no, you cannot retroactively place a 'critique only' restriction on a photo. emwalker
The direct ratings given before the critique request are those which would be deleted, but since it is no longer possible to rate photos before they are submitted for critique, it is not an issue.
