OMAX filters

The filters from Omax are likely to be the same as most filters sourced in India. They are optically flat, but uncoated, and sometimes they have the odd bubble.

Provided you use only one filter on the lens, and properly shade it, then the lack of coatings should not be a problem, niether should the odd bubble for most work. I would not reccommend them for extremely exacting work however.

As for finding US outlets for Omax, I think it is extremely unlikely that you will find any. I hav been trying to negotiate with Omax for some time for bulk orders to be shipped to the UK. They don't generally deal with small orders and shipping charges for some items are horrendous, so make sure that if you buy direct to get a firm quote for shipping.

They are using superior Quality of Glass in the Close up Filters as compare to other manufacturers in

India.

But there Prices are slightly Higher as they are providing quality products.
