These are two excellent cameras that were cut off in their prime by one of those inexplicable marketing decisions that plagues the camera business. I've had both - they are both excellent, but the 7070 has some connectivity issues with Olympus digital flashes when in bounce mode. That's the reason I sold mine and got the 8080 - very frustrating. amarkin Posted October 7, 2006 Share Posted October 7, 2006 I had the C7070-WZ and the fisheye with 3x telephoto from Olympus. Sold everything a couple of months ago. C7070-WZ was a good camera. It was bulky, well built and it was expensive to manufacture. Hence Olympus discontinued both of them as it no longer could compete with low end DSLRs and advance compact cameras.
