russmarshall
I'm new at computers (about 5 months) and scanning photos but still shooting film and printing on fiber. Trying to set up a web site - 2 to 4 pages - using Mozilla/Composer and scanning w/an Epson 4990 (B&W prints and slides, maybe negs later). My question - is Composer best for what I want? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 program and also Paint and a Corel edit program. Thanks
Charles_Webster
It's not clear what you are asking here. If you are asking what software is best for editing your photos, Photoshop Elements is a good place to start. The current version is 4.0, you might be able to upgrade at low or no cost. Composer is an HTML editor that is used to create web pages, The other programs are all photo editor programs. You can't create HTML pages in Paint or Photoshop Elements. <Chas>
russmarshall
Charles, Thanks for responding. I guess I was asking 2 questions - 1/ Is Composer a "good" web page creator compared to others I don't know about? 2/How do Photoshop Elements & Paint compare as to understandability, ease of use, etc for a relative novice like myself? Also,am I missing something important by not up-grading? Thanks again
