NetR
Here you go: http://www.naturfotograf.com/index2.html Scroll down a bit - if it fits on a camera, this guy has tried it. Regards, Ross
vivek iyer
It is a one of a kind - most likely a custom job- lens. It is not the 55/1.2 CRT Nikkor (http://d6d2h4gfvy8t8.cloudfront.net/3859884-lg.jpg, for an actual image taken with it at infinity, see: http://d6d2h4gfvy8t8.cloudfront.net/3823812-lg.jpg). The 55/1.2 are fairly "common". The 58/1 CRT-Nikkor is not.
vivek iyer
One more addition to this "unique among unusual lenses" thread- Nikon made a 85/1 Repro Nikkor lens. Both ends of the lens has 53x0.75 outer threads. Totally perhaps about 200 odd lenses were made as special order lenses (late 1960s to early 1980s). I know the existence of one 75mm f/1 Repro Nikkor lens with 52 x 0.75 outer threads. It was a special, "special order", custom lens made for a customer by Nikon. The 58/1 CRT Nikkor falls into that category.
