frans_waterlander
Where can I buy transparent or translucent sheets in various colors to tape to my lightbox for use as colored backgrounds?

thomas_sullivan
I agree with Ellis, rosco is the place to buy. If you are trying to find a local place, many Theatrical supply houses carry Rosco filters. You could also try any local theater groups to see where they buy theirs.......for their stage lighting. but, they probably eventually really got it from Rosco anyhow. pam_r
Bogen also makes a variety of filter packs. They are 12" x 12" filters and come 12 to a pack for about $22. There are Diffusion, Cool/Warm colors, Vivid colors, Trungsten/Daylight and a Variety pack. Each pack contains 12 different filters. It's a cheap way to play. You can cut them to fit your purpose (for example, I cut them to fit my flash):
Bogen Filter packs
austinphoto
I bought a box of 50 8x10 colored sheets, which I use to change color of lights years ago, but they are still good. Edmund Scientific. They were much cheaper than roscoe, but did not have the exact color numbers.
frans_waterlander
Thanks for all your replies. It appears that Rosco has the biggest color selection, 3 dealers in my local area and availability online from companies like B&H, Adorama, etc.
