stefanovandelli
Hi guys, does anyone know what is the ideal resolution to be used for a slideshow project to be put on VCD for use on a standard size television? (non HQ) Thanks for your help. Cheers
stefanovandelli
I don't know if it matters but the software used will be Nero.
bill_fouche
It depends on where you are. There are two television video standards: PAL and NTSC. In the US, we use NTSC, which is 720 x 480. Many other countries use PAL, which is 720 x 576. Aspect ratio for TV or video display ("regular" or non-HD) is 4:3. Unless you want black-space around edges, all photos should be cropped to 4:3. stefanovandelli
Bill, thanks. I am in the UK, so PAL it is.
