Can I Send an E-Mail from My Photo.Net Address?

I know I can receive e-mails sent to me at my photo.net e-mail address. But can

I send an e-mail from that address? That is, can I send an e-mail that will

show havanai@photo.net as my return address?

Thanks,

Havanai, Kurt Kramer

Well that isn't exactly true...you can change the header information in your email to reflect any adress if you know how...due to spamers I will not tell you how, but you can look it up on google or any other search engine.

Depends on your client. If you use Hotmail or GMail or Yahoo or the like, you can not. If you

use an account given by your ISP or other organization that you use with a cient like Eudora

or Outlook or even a web based client like SquirrelMail, there is no reason not to simply

change your From and Reply-To address to your photo.net one.

Unless photo.net starts putting so-called SPF records in their DNS, no spam filter will filter

you out for doing this.
