havanai
I know I can receive e-mails sent to me at my photo.net e-mail address. But canI send an e-mail from that address? That is, can I send an e-mail that willshow havanai@photo.net as my return address? Thanks, Havanai, Kurt Kramer

jim_g.1
Well that isn't exactly true...you can change the header information in your email to reflect any adress if you know how...due to spamers I will not tell you how, but you can look it up on google or any other search engine. nigel d
I will add that if your "from" address and your "reply to" address do not match, many spam filters will automatically delete the email without any notice to the intended recipient.
basscheffers
Depends on your client. If you use Hotmail or GMail or Yahoo or the like, you can not. If you use an account given by your ISP or other organization that you use with a cient like Eudora or Outlook or even a web based client like SquirrelMail, there is no reason not to simply change your From and Reply-To address to your photo.net one. Unless photo.net starts putting so-called SPF records in their DNS, no spam filter will filter you out for doing this.
