istvan_sandor
Hi, the serial number of the last image I have taken with my 10D is 4595-0966.Could anyone give me a hint about how many shutter actuations it means? Also, Iwould be curious about the highest actuation number of 10D owners on this forumbefore the shutter got replaced. Thanks a lot for the info, Istvan
PuppyDigs
Only a Canon Service Center can download the actual number of shutter cycles executed on a 10D. Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
istvan_sandor
..one more important info: I have always used the continous numbering and never reset it.,
John Crowe
I use continuous too. I bought mine used but at least I know how much I use it. The condition of the camera when I bought it was pristine and now that I know what it looks like after my 5000 shots I know the previous owner took something far less than 5000 shots. There is another exact thread about this just down the page a bit. Consensus seems to be 50000 to 100000 actuations.
