low light
Just bought an M6 with 50mm Summicron and was thinking of getting a 35mm as well, as I cannot afford to get the Leica version I was considering the Voigtlander 35mm F2.5 pancake lens, would any users give their opinions on this lens? Any example photos would be appreciated!
gene_e._mccluney
All of the Voigtlander 35mm lenses, the Pancake, the Ultron and the Nokton are very fine performers. Gene McCluney
stric
I agree with Gene. From my experience with VC all I can say is that VC lenses are fine lenses. In fact, excellent lenses for the money.
kenny_c
I did that as well, its a great little lens. Cheap out on it and save your money for something else, to me the summircon isnt even a priority now. I've been more than pleased with the VC 35mm 2.5 make sure you get the lens hood.<div></div>
35mmdelux
cheap out, no problem, but consider the 40mm/1.4 VC before you decide.
tom_levidiotis
Very light and handy and inexpensive. One of my favorite lenses.
vincenzo_maielli
Hi, Anthony. I own an Ultraon 35/1,7 and Apo Lanthar 90/3,5. Both are excellent lenses, optically and mechanically speaking. Also, the Pankace is very very good.Ciao
johnny massey
I don't know why but I personally never felt comfortable with the feel of it - much happier with the (faster) 40mm rokkor. Having said that, the 39mm filter size may be more convenient. Johnny.
carbon_dragon
I have two Voigtlander lenses, the 25 which is quite good and the 50/2.5 which is fairly poor. IN both the physical build quality seems very nice. I also have the first version Voigtlander meter and it's great. It's a great company and I won't hold the 50/2.5 against them.
