rj3000
Does a video cam hot shoe have the same physical dimensions and characteristicsas a still camera hot shoe? I am thinking of purchasing an on camera videolight for my Panasonic digital still camera to use when recording video. Iunderstand that it would only function as cold shoe but would it even fit is myquestion? Thanks Rob
lee_bacsik
My external RCA VDC88 video light mounts perfectly on my DSLR's hot-shoe. Not that there's a good use for it there (save focus-assist) but the point is I tried it and it works. I believe most modern shoe type accessories are of a standard size.
