image recovery software for macs?

Hi, I accidentally deleted my 2GB CF card and want to know if anyone can recommend free image recovery

software for Macs.

Disk Warrior saved my butt a year ago, when my system crashed. Not sure how it would work regarding a CF card.

I used photorec available at http://www.cgsecurity.org/. It is free and recovered several hundred files from 3 CF cards for me; in fact more files and less corrupted than 2 commercial demo programs I tried.

 

 

 

Under Mac OSX you will need to run this in a terminal session (i.e. /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app).

Lexar CF cards come with 'Image Rescue' software for both Windows

and Apple computers. I just checked, it does start under OS 10.4.

I once used it (under Windows), and it worked fine; just be prepared to get a second copy of ALL recoverable images since the last reformat, not just those from your last shoot.

Well i m not too sure abt macs.

but i m pretty sure that there is a way out.

Macs normally have an automatic back up system i guess.
