david_tolcher
I have just picked up a Wista DXII for a friend to get started in LF work. No instructions.... I have an Ebony RSW and using front tilt is easy - looks like it should be the same for the Wista but it isnt. Could someone tell me how to get the front and rear tilts operating ? Getting to the large hammer stage... Thanks Dave
bruce_barlow
Careful! Sounds like you're trying to make the Wista do an axis tilt. It only has base tilt, which is easily performed. The Wista has no axis tilts, front or rear. No hammer required... Good luck! Bruce
david_tolcher
Bruce, fetched the hammer and now have figured it.... the front standard doesnt pivot around the lower knob as with the Ebony, the whole assembly pivots once you disengage the groove.
