old school
Can anyone please tell me where to find a complete list of available film types for a Bronica S2A Polaroid Back, I can only seem to find contradictory information. Can I use 672, 679 or 689? I have read from one source that any 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 film pack will fit, and elsewhere a specific and much more restricted list (not including the above film types). I would be grateful for any help. Stuart
hugh_crawford1
The specific and much more restricted list probably is of film that was available in 1972 when the S2a went out of production. All the 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 film packs should fit.
J.W. Wall
I have the manual for the Bronica Polaroid Film Back S. I don't know whether your S2A back differs. This manual lists film types 665, 667, 668, 669, 107, 108, 87, and 88, in that order. All produce 85mm x 108mm images. Type 665 yields a print and apparently also a negative that is usable when processed. ISO ratings and exposure times vary. I haven't had time to try the back yet. Feel free to email me if you need more info. HTH
rui_marques
this is from the S2A manual: "Two kinds of polaroid pack film are presently available for use with the Bronica camera. For color pictures, 108 type film is used, while for black-and-white, 107 type."Hope it helps though you've probably already solved your problem.regards
