dominikazielinska
Does any one know anything about "yashica auxiliary telephoto & wide angle lenses"? Is there a market still out there for them? I bought them but believe that they are for medium format cameras and not my 35mm yashica. Any ideas of how much I could sell them for. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Dominika
david_m
What country are you in? In the USA, you might get $5-$15 for them. They are probably for one of the Yashica rangefinder cameras. They should come with matching viewfinders, without them they are not much use.
g thomas
They could be for the YashicaMat TLR with Bay 1 mount. Generally these auxiliary lenses don't have a good reputation, but an owner of one of these cameras might be interested.
winfried_buechsenschuetz1
You'll hardly be able to mount the aux lenses for 35mm cameras on your TLR, and vice-versa. The 35mm aux lenses have a 55mm thread mount (there are also some out there designed for the Electro35 MG1 and Electro35GX with a push-on mount but these are rare). Also, the aux lenses for the TLRs come in sets of two tele and two w/a lenses - one for the viewing and and one for the taking lens, and usually have a bayonet mount. If you are looking for the aux lenses for Yashica 35mm cameras take care to buy a set which comes with the tele-w/a finder. Without it the aux lenses are almost worthless. winfried_buechsenschuetz1
In case they come with a finder they are designed for 35mm cameras. If your filter thread does not fit you can use filter thread adaptors.
