8x10 in EU or like me in Switzerland is never cheap not even B/W. If cheap is your goal then 5x7 is about a bit lesser then half the price of 8x10. I'm still also dreaming but was not really sucessfull till now!

You won't do much better than B&H for film prices in the US.

 

But if you don't cheat the VAT tax man in the Euro zone, your price difference starts to dissapear.

 

The lifestyle of Europe is wonderful, but getting things at the cheapest price possible is something that you have traded off to get it.
