johnmarkpainter
I just got Photoshop CS and am trying to build some good action sets. I use Dr Brown's Image converter and have a good grasp on making my own actions. BUT I commonly use Auto-Levels and then Fade the results to taste. Is there a way for me to Batch that way? The File opens, runs my Sharpening etc...Auto-Levels and then PAUSE me to approve or tweek....then Continue on to the next part of the action? Thanks jmp
beno_t_marchal
You can insert a stop through the fly-away menu. Also for steps like Level, Sharpening, etc. (including Fading) you can display the dialog box so you have a chance to adjust the values. In the action palette, click the empty box next to the step.
--ben
sc21
I found the "Take Advantage of Photoshop Actions" article here to be very helpful. http://www.photoshopsupport.com/resources/articles.html
johnmarkpainter
Thanks....I knew it was in there somewhere. I just didn't know what to look for. There is a lot of Strategy in Photoshop use that isn't really covered in the manual. jmp
